Q. How much does it cost?
A. Our prices start from just £10.00 - please
see the table below for comprehensive pricing details. There are
absolutely no hidden fees - the prices you see on the table below
are the prices you pay!
For .uk domain names, please ensure
that you have read Nominet
UK's Terms and Conditions.
* .ltd.uk and .plc.uk - conditions apply, please click
here for details.
Q. What else do I get with my domain name?
A. All domain names come complete with free email
forwarding, free web forwarding - so if you're not yet ready to
have a website, then why not use your domain name purely for email
in the meantime - it's completely free!
You also get a free holding page as well, so if somebody
types your new domain name into a web browser, they will be presented
with a neat information page stating that the domain name has been
registered, as opposed to the usual 'page cannot be found' document.
Q. What if I want to have a website?
A. If you want to have a website associated with your
domain name, then you can choose one of our fabulous Windows
2003 web hosting packages. Fully-featured, and ready to go,
we'll provide you with a full instruction guide to help get you
started. For more details, please visit our Web
Hosting section.
Please note that the hosting package prices shown
in our 'Web Hosting' section include
for one domain name by default. If you would like to have more than
one domain name associated with your hosting package, please see
our Optional Extras page.
Q. Sounds great - what do I do next?
A. There are four easy steps to ordering your domain
names:-
STEP 1 - Check Availability
Before placing your order, please use our search facility
to ensure that your desired names are currently available.
STEP 2 - Place Your Order
We accept all major credit/debit cards and you can
order your domain names quickly and safely in our secure Order
Now section.
Alternatively, you may wish to post a cheque or postal
order - instructions on how to do this are detailed here.
STEP 3 - You Receive Confirmation
The moment we have your domain names secured, we'll
send you confirmation via email. This usually happens within an
hour or so of placing your order, but during busy periods it may
take up to three working hours. Your confirmation email will provide
details of where you'll be able to view your registration details
within 24-48 hours.
STEP 4 - Set Up Your Email
In your confirmation email we'll send you details
of how to set up your free email forwarding or free POP accounts,
which is a very simple process. Your email settings will become
active within 24-72 hours of registering your domain name, as will
your free holding page.
Q. What about future renewals?
A. When your domain name is due for renewal, we'll
contact you in plenty of time so that you can make arrangements
for payment. We won't let your domain name slip out of your hands
unless you're absolutely sure you don't want it any more!
Q. Can I use my ISP's free web space?
A. We don't provide web forwarding, as we don't believe
this is an entirely professional solution to hosting your domain
name. We can, however, usually arrange to point your new domain
name to the servers of another hosting company, but you should check
first that they are in agreement. If they are, then please let us
know the following information from them and we'll arrange to point
your domain name within 6 working hours:-
Primary DNS server name
Secondary DNS server name
Q. Can I transfer my domain name away completely?
A. Yes. We'd be sorry to see you go, but make
no charge for releasing your domain name to another hosting company,
if you so wish. You should be aware that the new hosting company
will be responsible for renewing your domain name in the future,
so you should check very carefully what their domain registration
costs and procedures are, and whether there are any hidden clauses
involved.
